I really love" love." I know, I know, it sounds so trite coming from a wedding planner, but I do. I cry at almost every wedding, I love watching movies about it, I love hearing songs about it, and I especially love seeing it in action. Yesterday was a banner day for love. An amazing couple couple came together to declare their love for each other in front of their friends and family. Cue music " Love is all around you," and that was the day. The 3 groomsmen poured love and sweat and tears to make the day perfect for the bride and groom, and the 3 bridesmaids outmatched them with more love and care and warmth. The love within that circle of friends was awe-inspiring. And love just kept on coming: From the twin brothers playing exquisitely during the ceremony, the tear-rendering vows, to the fantastic photography team of Love & Perry (no, I am not making that up), all the way to the gluten free birthday cake for bridesmaid Emily, the whole day was a big ol' hug of love! I am so grateful to have been a part of that day. It has been such a joy to get to know this couple over the past year. Thanks E+S! Best wishes and have a blast in Budapest!
So, what is the moral of this story? Choose love, and make sure you love all of your choices. Then surround yourself with love, and all will be well.
